Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 500 g sausage
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 onion

sauce

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sauce tomato
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 25 g butter

Method

  • STEP 1 Combine all ingredients and mix well loaf.
  • STEP 2 Place in a baking dish with enough space for basting.
  • STEP 3 Form a loaf and bake at 180 ° C for 30-45 minutes.
  • Step 4 While loaf is cooking, place ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a boil then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5 Pour over loaf and bake for another 45 minutes, basting frequently.

Notes

My mom gave me this recipe and it was the only way I would eat meatloaf as a child, so now make it for my kids and they love. steak sauce can replace the tomato sauce.
