Ingredients

  • 30 g butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 500 g coarsely chopped cauliflower
  • 3 cup chicken broth (liquid)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 3 diced bacon slices

Method

  • STEP 1 melt the butter, add the onion and bacon and cook over low heat.
  • STEP 2 Add the cauliflower and cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
  • STEP 3 Add the chicken broth, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Step 4 Mix the cream, grated cheese and parsley. Serve.

Notes

broccoli can be added at the same time as the cauliflower for a little variation.
