Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup long grain white rice
  • 3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter into cubes

Method

  • STEP 1 in a colander, rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water.
  • STEP 2 Place in lightly greased slow cooker.
  • STEP 3 Add remaining ingredients, except the butter and stir to combine.
  • Step 4 Sprinkle butter rice mixture.
  • STEP 5 Cover and cook on high for 2 ½ - 3 hours, until rice has absorbed the liquid.
  • STEP 6 Serve hot.
