Potato Goulash Soup

Ingredients
- 6 large potato peeled cut into small pieces
- 2 big carrot slices
- 1 brown onion
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin seeds
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons smoky paprika
- 1 tablespoon crushed dried marjoram
- 1 pinch * salt to taste
- 1 pinch * pepper to taste
- 150g chopped oyster mushrooms
- 3 diced Kransky sausage
- 3/4 cup sliced shallot
- 1 tablespoon broth (in powder)
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal
- 150 ml water
Method
- STEP 1 Mix water and cornflour together.
- STEP 2 oil [19459026heat] deep saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and carrots and cook until the color is released from carrots.
- STEP 3 Add potatoes, cumin seeds and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes. Add paprika, stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Step 4 Pour in enough water to cover the potatoes. Bring the broth to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until potatoes and carrots are soft.
- STEP 5 Heat another skillet over medium heat. Add the slices of Kransky sausages and cook until golden brown then add to the soup.
- STEP 6 Add mushrooms, marjoram, meat broth powder, scallions and season with salt and pepper. Shake.
- STEP 7 If you prefer a thicker soup, add corn flour mixed with water and cook until bubbling.
- STEP 8 Serve alone or with fresh bread-roll.

This can be served as dinner. You can add to this soup all the leftovers :. Pasta, potatoes, rice, etc. will always be delicious
