Ingredients

  • 600g cauliflower
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons
  • flour
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste *

Method

  • STEP 1 Boil or steam cauliflower until just cooked. Drain.
  • STEP 2 Whisk together the melted butter, milk and flour.
  • STEP 3 In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the hot milk, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Step 4 Remove the sauce from the heat and set aside.
  • STEP 5 Place cauliflower in a shallow oven-proof rectangular plate and pour the sauce over.
  • STEP 6 mixed Sprinkle cheese over top.
  • STEP 7 180C Put in oven and bake until the cheese is golden and cauliflower is heated through.
